Generalized Spatiotemporal Quasi Phase Matching

Abstract

We develop a description of nonlinear optics where quasi-phase-matching of both momentum and energy mismatch can be implemented by employing both spatial and temporal modulations. This generalized quasi-phase-matching technique could allow unique applications.
