Abstract

We implement a new approach for creating broadband mid-infrared frequency combs via degenerate divide-by-2 optical parametric oscillator. It was pumped by a 1560-nm femtosecond Er-fiber laser and produced > 1000-nm-wide frequency comb centered at 3.1μm.
