Laser scanning holographic fabrication of large area photonic crystal templates

Abstract

Laser scanning of diffractive optics is introduced for flexible holographic fabrication of three-dimensional photonic crystal templates that facilitate seamless stitching of large-area crystals with spectral bandgap tuning, chirping, apodization and novel integration approaches for optofluidics.
