Abstract

We demonstrate a strong optomechanical coupling in a high-quality-factor air-slot mode-gap photonic crystal cavity with ultrasmall mode volume, with a coupling length L~2.9?m. Optomechanical coupling lengths with different slot gaps and lengths are also compared.
