Maximizing the Supercontinuum Bandwidth in As2S3 Chalcogenide Photonic Crystal Fibers

Abstract

We simulate supercontinuum generation in an As2S3 chalcogenide photonic crystal fiber with a hexagonal structure, optimizing the fiber pitch and pulse duration with a 2.8 µm laser source in order to maximize the output bandwidth.
