Time-to-space conversion at 1.55 μm by non-degenerate SFG

Abstract

We report the first demonstration of time-to-space conversion of 1.55 m femtosecond optical pulses using non-degenerate, collinearly phase-matched sum-frequency generation. A quasi-monochromatic output signal with a resolution of 10 was obtained.
