Investigation of surface plasmon amplification in finite-width gold stripline based on Nd:YVO4 crystal

Abstract

We report the strong surface plasmon amplification of the finite-width gold micro-stripline on Nd:YVO4 crystal substrate at 1064nm. The low-loss plasmonic 2D waveguide may be advantageous for potential applications in standard optoelectronics devices.
