Photoinduced Absorption with Ultrafast Decay Constants in a Large Single Crystal of BiFeO3

Abstract

Using near-infrared pump probe technique, we demonstrate ultrafast photoinduced absorption with a decay constant as short as 100 fs in a large single crystal of bismuth ferrite with high quality grown by floating zone method.
