Very Simple Tunable Optical Data Storage of 8Bit 1Gbps Data Packets Up to 500ns

Abstract

We propose the tunable storage of 8Bit data packets for up to 500ns by extension of the Quasi-Light-Storage method. Easy tuning of the storage time in the whole range is possible using conventional telecommunication components.
