Two Photon Absorption Effect of Terahertz Radiation from Low-Temperature-Grown GaAs Photoconductive Antennas

Abstract

We investigate the possibility of enhancing terahertz radiation power though two-photon absorption induced extra photo-carrier in photoconductive antenna. Meanwhile, competition between single photon absorption and two photon absorption for terahertz radiation are discussed as well.
