Abstract

Few MW-level peak power, passively Q-switched Nd:YAG/Cr<sup>4+</sup>:YAG microlasers with two-beam output were realized. The monolithic devices incorporate composite, all-ceramics components and can be used as multipoint igniters in internal combustion engines.
