Lidar Measurements of Atmospheric Oxygen Using a 1.27 Micron Raman Amplifier

Abstract

We have developed a high-power narrow linewidth Raman amplifier near 1.27 micron and integrated it into an Integrated Path Differential Absorption lidar. Ground-based measurements of atmospheric oxygen have been performed using the integrated amplifier.
