Detecting Anthrax in the Mail via Coherent Raman Microspectroscopy

Abstract

We demonstrate, for the first time, how spatial information can be collected through a turbid medium via coherent Raman microspectroscopic imaging. The technique is capable of identifying anthrax endospores inside a sealed paper envelope.
