Development of Transient Absorption Ultrasonic Microscopy

Abstract

We have developed a novel hybrid imaging modality, Transient Absorption Ultrasonic Microscopy, that integrates nonlinear absorption with photoacoustic detection to achieve high resolution absorption imaging. Basic principles and recent progress will be discussed.
