Ultrafast thin disk lasers for intralaser extreme nonlinear optics

Abstract

We demonstrate a sub-100-fs modelocked thin disk laser (TDL) and detect for the first time the carrier envelope offset (CEO) of a TDL, two key enabling milestones for future intracavity nonlinear experiments.
