High-speed imaging of OH radicals in flames using fiber-coupled UV-PLIF

Abstract

A fiber-coupled, high-speed UV-PLIF system employing a long multimode silica fiber is developed for detection of OH in harsh combustion environments. Single-laser-shot, 10-kHz, OH-PLIF imaging of unsteady flames is demonstrated.
