Abstract

A system for distributed discriminative measurement of strain and temperature along a polarization-maintaining fiber is proposed using Brillouin dynamic grating, based on Brillouin optical correlation-domain analysis with time-division pump-probe generation scheme. The discrimination is successfully demonstrated.
