Self-induced Thermal Nonlinearities in InGaAsP Microtubes at Telecom Wavelengths

Abstract

We demonstrate, for the first time, dynamical thermal effects in InGaAsP microtubes at telecom wavelengths. Such effect can be avoided or exploited for passive or active applications by choosing appropriate resonance wavelengths.
