400-Wavelength Raman Comb Lasing in a Ring Cavity Based on Nonlinear Polarization Rotation

Abstract

We demonstrate Raman comb lasing in a ring cavity. The intensities of lines are equalized by the nonlinear polarization rotation mechanism. More than 400-wavelength lasing with the signal-noise ratio higher than 10 dB is obtained.
