Counter-Propagating Whispering-Gallery-Modes of InGaAs/GaAs Microtubes

Abstract

We demonstrate, for the first time, the counter-propagating whispering-gallery-modes of InGaAs/GaAs microtubes. We study the thermo-optic effect in these microtubes and realize optical-optical modulation in both propagating and counter-propagating modes.
