Experimental study of the stability of harmonic mode-locking in quantum dot passively mode-locked lasers

Abstract

The stability of harmonic mode-locking in a two-section quantum dot passively mode-locked laser is examined using a Frequency Resolved Optical Gating pulse measurement system and shown for the first time to be a stable effect.
