Violation of Bell Inequality with the Fractional Momentum of the photon: a step towards a new q-bit

Abstract

Bell inequality is violated with transverse spatial variables of twin photons, through optical implementation of Fractional Fourier Transforms. A q-bit can be constructed and manipulated in the same way, with promising applications to quantum information.
