Benefits of the spatial partial coherence for the applications in digital holography microscopy

Abstract

We investigate the use of partially spatial coherent illuminations for digital holographic microscopes (DHM) working in transmission. The major advantage is reduction of the speckle noise making it possible high image quality for biomedical applications.
