The Space-Bandwidth Ratio

Abstract

The recently proposed space-bandwidth ratio defines how ‘tall’ a signal’s phase space diagram is. Useful in choosing reconstruction algorithms in digital holography, here we propose its use for back-of-the-envelope calculations concerning lens system propagation.
