Abstract
This paper discusses what could be called the pixel paradox. This paradox is related to contradictorily modelling coexisting in literature. A first approach states that the pixel function acts as a convolution function, whereas the latter states that it acts as a multiplicative sinc function. After discussing the pixel paradox, the sinc amplitude modulation is experimentally demonstrated.
