Analysis of three-dimensional distributions of scattered light by the Discrete Dipole Approximation

Abstract

The discrete dipole approximation is applied to the analysis of three-dimensional distributions of light scattered by subwavelength dielectric targets. The results imply that the size of the targets has greater influence on the distributions than their shape.
