Study of benzocyclobutene as optical material at elevated temperatures for high-power laser applications

Abstract

There is a growing interest in polymeric diffractive structures for high-power lasers. We have manufactured diffractive structures in benzocyclobutene (BCB). The effects on topography and transmittance at elevated temperatures for structured BCB have been investigated.
