Photopolymer Characterization and Grating Playback at Telecommunication Wavelengths

Abstract

The viability of holographic photopolymers for use at telecommunication wave- lengths is studied. Parameters including absorption and transmission are determined, and the formation of large period gratings designed for high efficiency and infrared playback is discussed.
