Pulsed acousto-optic imaging with holographic speckle detection

Abstract

We present a new detection scheme for acousto-optic tomography, in which the pulse-wave configuration allows excellent axial resolution and field reconstructed from the digitally recorded holograms a more detailled analysis of the scatering in thick samples.
