Abstract

A method for compensation of both high speed XPolM and XPM in a 112Gb/s PDM OFDM QPSK channel surrounded by 10Gb/s OOK neighbors is proposed. It allows for more than 4dB Q-factor improvement in a 10100km NDSF fiber with 90% inline dispersion compensation.
