Abstract (40-Word Limit): We report the first Gigabit-range visible light link based on off-the-shelf RGB-type white LEDs. By application of WDM and DMT modulation an aggregate rate of 1.25 Gbit/s within the FEC 2*10-3 limit has been reached at illumination levels recommended by the lighting standard for the working environment.
