Abstract

We present a hybrid low-noise Raman-bismuth doped fiber amplifier pumped in co-propagation configuration by a single 1.22 µm semiconductor disk laser. Performance is enhanced due to same pump-gain bandwidth separation for Raman shift and Bismuth.
