Initial Onboard Performance of TANSO-FTS on GOSAT

Abstract

Thermal And Near infrared Sensor for carbon Observation (TANSO) Fourier-Transform Spectrometer (FTS) onboard GOSAT monitors CO2 and CH4 globally from space. GOSAT will be launched in January, 2009. The initial onboard performance will be presented.
