On the bichromatic excitation of a two-level atom with squeezed light

Abstract

Dynamics of a two-level atom bichromatically excited with two squeezed fields derived from degenerate optical parametric oscillators is discussed by solving Heisenberg equation of motion. Oscillatory behavior in the fluorescent intensity as well as in intensity correlation function is found. These results are compared with the monochromatic excitation case.
