Abstract

Chaotic optical communication at 2.5 Gbit/s has been demonstrated, and higher bit rates are possible. In this talk, I will address the various issues from laser dynamics to message decoding to give an overview of research progresses in chaotic optical communications. Most recent experimental and theoretical results will be presented.
