Abstract

Time-dependent measurements in the frequency-domain were performed on large breast phantoms using an intensified CCD camera for rapid data acquisition, and fluorescence contrast agents (ICG) for enhanced optical contrast. Image reconstructions performed using approximate extended Kalman filter algorithm detected deep targets (> 1cm deep) under varying conditions.
