Geometrical optics approach for the analysis of one-dimensional plasmons in metallic wedges and grooves

Abstract

An approximate approach for the analysis of strongly localized plasmons guided by a sharp metallic groove or wedge will be presented based on the geometrical optics approximation, including the applicability conditions, dispersion, existence conditions, etc.
