Near-Field Imaging of Enhanced Transmittance through an Array of Plasmonic Nanoantennae

Abstract

Aperture based near-field microscopy of engineered double layer arrays in illumination mode has shown increased transmission through the array. This is due to a nanoantenna effect created by the double layer and metallized tip.
