Integrated Polymer Waveguide Optical Interconnects for 10+ Gb/s Modules

Abstract

The prototype optical interconnect modules with planar polymer waveguides, 45° reflector mirrors, and pluggable optical jumper connectors are demonstrated. The modules have 5 dB insertion losses and support 10+ Gbps data transmission.
