Abstract

Using enhanced polarization-sensitive optical coherence tomography (EPS-OCT), we demonstrate visualization and quantification of collagen fiber ultrastructure in cartilage. This is important for understanding of the physiological/mechanical properties of cartilage and its associated diseases.
