Many-body Effects in Ultrafast Chirped Pulse Control of Carriers in Semiconductors

Abstract

We show that behavior similar to adiabatic rapid passage and intrapulse pump-dump process, which is mainly due to the bandgap renormalization, play a key role in ultrafast chirped pulse control of carriers in broadband semiconductors.
