Raman Sensor Based on Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering and D-shaped Fibers

Abstract

We propose and demonstrate a novel Ram an sensor based on surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) and D -shaped fibers. Our first proof-of-concept experiment shows that such a sensor is promising for high sensitivity molecular sensing.
