DC-operated Instrument for High-Accuracy Measurement of Thermal Infrared Radiation

Abstract

The dc-operated infrared radiometer without a mechanical chopper has been developed and well characterized for blackbody radiation measurement near ambient temperature. The instrument has an excellent resolution of 5 mK in radiance temperature and a time-response of 0.1 s.
