We describe a new instrument combining adaptive optics ophthalmoscopy and fluorescence imaging. The instrument is capable of imaging retrograde labeled ganglion cells, intrinsic fluorescence from retinal pigment epithelial cells, and intravenous fluorescein injections <i>in vivo</i>.
