We have studied the competition between two gain channels <sup>4</sup>F<sub>3/2 </sub>--><sup>4</sup>I<sub>11/2</sub> and <sup>4</sup>F<sub>3/2 </sub>--><sup>4</sup>I<sub>13/2</sub> in Nd:Ba<sub>5</sub>(PO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>3</sub>F random laser with added Cr<sup>4+</sup>:Y<sub>3</sub>Al<sub>5</sub>O<sub>12</sub> powder (absorbing light at 1.06µm) and mirrors reflecting light at 1.32µm or 1.06µm.
