Generation of High-Quality Telecom-Band Entangled Photon Pairs with Only 2 Meters of Highly Nonlinear Fiber

Abstract

We generate polarization-entangled photon pairs using only 2 m of cooled highly-nonlinear fiber. Observation of 97%-visibility two-photon-interference paves the way toward realizing practical sources for telecom-band quantum communications. Article not available.
