Intraoperative Optical Biopsy of Breast Cancer

Abstract

Optical coherence tomography (OCT) of breast tissue yields high-resolution optical biopsies that can be used to identify cancerous regions. We present intraoperative OCT studies of surgical margin scanning and biopsy needle guidance.
