Propagation of Electromagnetic Waves in Non-uniform Volume Bragg Gratings

Abstract

Spectral properties of reflective Volume Bragg Gratings (VBG) are studied with rigorous coupled wave approach. Similarities and differences between volume and fiber gratings are discussed. Simulation technique for VBG is proposed and compared with experiment.
