Microscopic Model of the Extraordinary Light Transmission

Abstract

The electromagnetic interaction between nano-objects on the metal surface is driven by two different waves: the SPP mode and a quasi-cylindrical wave. We discuss the impact of these two waves in the extraordinary transmission.
