Abstract

I will describe a label-free-biosensor that exploits the local surface-plasmon-resonance of noble metal nanostructures; and a polymer-brush-interface on glass that abolishes non-specific adsorption leading to a femtomolar limit-of-detection of protein analytes in whole blood.
